Sandy Bottom

Sandy Bottom

Sandy Bottoms is a great little swimming area and fishing hole. Located off of Old Dial Road, this is the favorite drop off location for some tubing companies. This spot also offers a few camping sites – click the button below for more information.

Please be careful, as there is a parking fee that needs to be paid and it is not too obvious.

An excellent spot to enjoy the cool water on a hot summer day. You may also bring your tubes and float the river on your own. Note that DNR requires that you have a life west in your tube. You will also have to make arrangements to be picked up at your take out spot.
