Eating Near Aska

You are in the Mountain – experiencing all that is best in this area – you need to stay with the experience and pick one of our few places to eat near Aska. The Aska Area is certainly not Down Town Blue Ridge, but we do offer a couple of great places to take a bite.

The Toccoa Riverside Restaurant is a wonderful restaurant, famous for the excellent Trout dishes. Dine on the River – be one with Nature. Please note that they are closed Mondays and Tuesdays. They serve lunch and dinner in a beautiful setting (Wine and beer only). Before lunch take a hike to Falls Branch Falls – only a few short miles away from the Restaurant. Work up an appetite and come back for lunch. Evening meals are also great, sitting by the River, listening to sound of water rushing with a great glass of Malbec to sip on.

If you are looking for something of a quicker and lighter meal, The River Walk Grill is a great choice! No thrills, no frills just good food. they also have a little convenience store in case you forgot to pack some items. The drive there alone is worth the trip. Once you are there, just a short drive away you will find historic Chastain House or the truly haunted Tilley Bend Cemetery. Also on the way are Springer Mountain, the Swinging Bridge and Long Creek Falls.

If you would like to pack lunch and have a lot of fun in the Aska Area, the Lilly Pad Village provides picnic table for guests. Come and spend the day! They do sell snacks such as chips, candy bars and drinks. Treat yourself to a nice ice cream while your kiddos gem mine or fish. The sounds of nature are simply thrilling at this quaint beautiful family activity center.
